Tank Series with Feedback Control

This example highlights the underlying tools used to set up and solve systems of coupled ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Getting acquainted with this structure allows you to confidently modify and move beyond the reactor models that are predefined in the software.

The model treats a series of three consecutive tank reactors. A feedback loop continuously adjusts the inlet concentration of the first tank in order to keep the concentration at the outlet of the last reactor close to a set level.
