I'm doing thickness otimization using moving mesh.i'm able to change the length but i get same displacement for every thicknesss.did i need to do remeshing to mesh the new one if so how can i do remeshing

Hi

that depends how you set up your model, but are you sure you need ALE ?
If your geometry is simple use a Parameter for the critical thickness, and ADD a parametric sweep node above your first solver step and adjust the parameter there then solve.

Do not use a continuation sweep as that will not perfrom any "remesh" nor Geometry update

Good luck
