Moving steel in the air problem.

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, I want to simulate moving down steel in the air.

It is transient problem and I added laminar flow and moving mesh module.

The geometry is like the file I attached.

I set the whole geometry as free deformation and

set just the steel boundaries as prescribed mesh velocity of 1cm/s.

However I found that the mesh at the both side were not moved down to break the mesh.

I think it may be from bad boundary condition.

Please help.

Thanks.
