Solving for flow separately in Electrodeposition

I am trying to model electrodeposition in 3D with laminar fluid flow. Trying to solve for both flow and deposition at the same time seems to be bogging my computer down, and the flow should be constant anyway. I knew how to solve them separately in 3.5, but I am using 4.2 now and I can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone know how to do this?
