RF metal/semi conductor simulation problems

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

First off I am new to Comsol and in no way an expert.

I am trying to perform a 2D simulation of a layered structure of metal on top of silicon which is then on top of silicon dioxide. I can perform simulations using microwave frequencies, 5+GHz, but when I reduce the frequency to ~10MHz I get no propagation of the wave. I know this isn't physical but why does the simulation stop working at lower frequencies? Or is it not working at all?!

Any advice would be very gratefully received.

Thank you
Rob
