boundary load F(x,y)

Hello,

i´m struggling with a simple question... How can I set up a boundary load in z-direction like F(x,y) in solid mechanics?!

Hi

type in your equation in the load BC with the x,y variables.
Example:
cylinder of radius R: axis along z, fixed at the lower end surface
on the upper edge rim you apply a Moment M0 [N*m] defined as an edge load force in global coordinates:
Fx = -y*M0/R
Fy = +x*M0/R

see the 3.5a moment load example in structural doc
